About Me

I am a wife, special Mom, writer, speaker, blogger, worship leader, parent coach and french fry lover.  I am the wife of Michael and the Mother to Jonah and Olivia, and our Yorkie, Max.  I have 14 years’ experience in Early Intervention, and I write a monthly column, “Special Parents, Special Kids” for the Mahoning Valley Parent Magazine in Ohio and Mid-Ohio Valley Parent Magazine in West Virginia. I have also had two stories published in “Women of Passions: Ordinary Women Serving an Extraordinary God,” compiled by Janet Ross, and “A Patchwork of Freedom” compiled by Lori Wagner.

I have a passion for letting special parents know they are not alone on their journey, and they were chosen by God to parent their child. I speak to all kinds of groups including: parents, caregivers, social workers, nurses, teachers and more.

I have experience speaking to groups ranging in size from 10 to 500 and can tailor the presentation to the type of audience you have. Contact me at mariajospencer4@gmail.com for details and rates.
